I like chinese and their culture very much,especially their kind heart! I am always touched when I stay with Chinese. The chinese are usually very polite and shy. They normally don't talk to you, but once you begin to talk to them, then they are very happy and try to communicate with you. Unfortunately, my chinese is handicapt and is not good enough to communicte in a normal way to them.
I'm very impresst from rich chinese how easy you can get along with them. In Switzerland they are mostly snobs.

I like the cultur when the family is fighting to pay the bill in the restaurant. I already tried all strategis to win, but because of my language problem, I have no chance to win.

I love the food in China very much! bt I always eat to much, because others like to talk while eating, and I don't understand, so I try all dishes and just eat. Afterwords, I feel like I can't move anymore and I'm exploding soon! Always after dinner, my father-in-law asks me to go for foot massage or full(Body) massage. And I tell you I love it! I always fall in sleap and realax so much. I feel like new burned, or a bird fling away to paradise. Each time I had to prey:"Oh, my God ,please let us go just for foot massage not body massage!" due to my full stomach. Once, I really ate too much that night, when I went into the room, I found there was a stick on the wall. I was very confused and asked my father-in-law what's that. He told me that tose ware stick to hang the curtons. He choosed the master who has the most power and wich was a littel ower weight and told me that this was the best one. Oh, my goodnees, I preied to God that everithing gos fine. At the begining, it seemed nothing happend and it was so comfortable that I almost slep. Suddendly, I feel somebody stand on my back. I almost coulden't bare it anymore, I could not breath anymore and I got a half colik. I didn't tell Papa enything and my I began to swet a lot. I had to control that I don't phrat! I fieled very chame and on the other side I allmost died. After massage, I looked very pale that my father-in-law thought I was sick.

My dear swiss colleagues, if you get a chance to go to China, try chinese massage, but please watch out the stick on the wall first and check out the master who is going to massage you, never choose a to heavy one, then decide if you want to have a massage or not.....

By the way, I like China very much! I go back to China at least once per year since I married to my Chinese wife. I have learned a lot of chinese culture through my chinese family and their friends and a think I'm a half chinese already.

I remember that once after the dinner in restaurant in China, all the people of the table flighted to pay after asking the bill. We saw the waiter's coming, the flighting was stronger and stronger. The waiter passed by us and said:"It's not your bill, calm down".....Quite funny.

Also I remember once I had dinner with my Swiss boyfriend's family. His mother and grandmother flighted to pay, other family member said to me: it's a swiss tradition. I was surprise:" really?" But soon I truned out it's a joke.

Dear Mr. haohan, I totally agree with you in Chinese foot massage!

My girl friend took me to a massage place last April while I was back to Shanghai, and I chose 'GONGTING' foot massage for the first time. Oh, it was really so wonderful feeling and ralaxed!! I will go for it again when I back to China!

But I have one problem is that I couldn't convince my husband to like massage as he wouldn't let me to massage him- I mean real massage and he said to me he doesn't need it, only my kiss!

I just wonder the same Swiss man but different favourite of Chinese culture. Of course, my husband loves Chinese food except chicken feet. It's funny but it's true!

@isusan: speaking of feet, I totally agree with you AND with your husband: foot MASSAGE is great, but I never could figure out what should be so amazing about EATING feet...

Dear mondmann, Sorry you got wrong... My husband does not like MASSAGE and he said 'only my kiss' was teasing me(Swiss people like joking), so it's nothing to do with EATING feet (unless you're joking too)!

Chinese massage is a kind of Chinese culture and treatment - take the tiredness away. I think you should be knowing it well.

I am pround of Swiss people like Chinese culture and I believe that all of Chinese friends here are pround of it! Right?

i know some about massage, so i do that for my husband and his family members. but i can never try feet massage for my husband, as he's too ticklish.

Ops! Aha you talk about eating CHICkEN feet! Well, you know in Kanton(Guangdong) style "Yangcha", that small dish 'chicken feet' is delicious! I miss that! Chicken feet also can be made cold or spicy dish and snack package. It is yummy!

Maybe Europeans don't experience this kind of food, but Chinese kitchen made it be so delicious.

Actually, I have experienced that foot massage - it used a bamboo or wooden hammer to hit or tap the sole of foot and heel for sometime, so you won't feel ticklish at all! The feet be relaxed and then you feel relax too.

Try it, it might works on your husband!

I tell you: I love the cantoniese kitchen! But I don't like the breakfast, and also chicken feets don't belong to my favorits.

But, I tell you a real story which happend to me three years ago: We traveled with my Mother- in- law and her driver from the newspaper drave as around. After a intervew by a private school, we went to the country side of Canton, to a very huge restaurant. In front of there was a half zoo with cages, and I even saw some rats. OK, honestly I didn't fell so comfortable! But I thought, don't show any reaction, and just follow your wife and mama. I was a bit nervous, and that, it migt be better to order some beer, so I will be more relaxe. My Mam-in-law ordered the dishes, and asked me to follow her outside. I didn't, because I saw this rats, and I hate rats very much!

Anyway, we ate, and ate, and I felt, it was so delicious! It was really my best lunch I ever had! I tried all dishes, I diden't think at which animals I'm eating now! While I was eating, Mama offered me some soup, but I'm not a big soup fun! Ok I that, everthing was so delicious, I'm also going to try the soup. And realy the soup was great! Suddenly Mama had something between her chopsticks, and put it in front of my eays. I first didn't recognised what it was, but then, I stopped to eat! My food tried to come up again. This delicious soup, was fool of scopions, and I couldn't trust my eays!

Could you imagine what else I ate at this day? Anyway it was delicious, and I would go again to there, even I would know what I'm eating! Haha

But please Seule use it just on his feets, I still need your husband!
